Have You Heard: Saint PHNX

For fans of: Puggy, Jon Bellion, Blackbear, Deaf Havana

Scottish rock duo Saint PHNX aren’t spending any time messing around. The two brothers (Stevie on guitars and vocals, and Alan on drums) originally formed Vigo Thieves, selling out venues in their hometown of Glasgow with their power and emotion before packing it in.

Now returning under the name Saint PHNX, the pair have released two tracks of pounding drums, strong guitars and massive choruses that are determined to leave their mark. Debut single ‘Reload’ is paired with a perfectly executed video featuring images of war and politics, matching the powerful lyrics and overall feel of the song.

‘King’ is the second single from the duo and showcases just how big their choruses are. Saint PHNX may only have been around since last January but the brothers have been writing music together since their early teens and this is definitely evident on this track. ‘King’ has been featured on BBC Introducing as well as Spotify’s Rocked playlist gaining the track well deserved attention.

Intimidating synths and raw vocals make Saint PHNX stand out and their powerful tracks could easily be heard at festivals and arenas in the near future. The duo are currently in the studio working on their debut album and will be playing at The Great Escape festival in May.
